About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and effective English teacher to join our Senior School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing quality teaching and learning for students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Keeping up to date with current pedagogy.
• Ensuring quality pastoral care of students.

About You:

• You demonstrate exceptional teaching practice, delivering motivational and differentiated English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• You have a sound understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, and can effectively teach English to senior levels.
• You are highly organised, self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• You maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
• You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Attributes

• Ability to teach English to senior levels Y7-Y13.
• IB experience and/or NCEA experience at Levels 2 and 3 is preferable.
• Current Teacher Registration.
• Valid New Zealand working rights.
