Work Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday (22 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly, capable and proactive Receptionist/Administrator to join our Aquatic Centre team. This key front-facing position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the CCW (College Community Water) Office and merchandise sales while supporting the coordination of our busy swim school programme.

You will deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, welcoming and professional approach, in line with our College motto "By Love Serve".

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional and pleasant reception area, acting as a first point of contact for all Aquatic Centre visitors and callers.
  • Provide efficient, "can-do" customer service and foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Manage swim school bookings, including enrolments, re-bookings, casual sessions, make-up lessons, suspensions and cancellations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer records and payment data entry prior to monthly direct debit processing.
  • Assist with swim instruction on occasion as required.
  • Monitor and manage merchandise stock levels and place orders when necessary.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a swim school or aquatic centre environment is highly advantageous
  • Swim instructing and/or lifeguard qualifications are preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with customer database systems is desirable
